Turn off Windows 10 automatic updates in two steps

 

Windows 10's update settings don't let you directly disable automatic updates or schedule them. Because updates can sometimes cause serious problems, you may prefer to stop them. Actually, disabling Windows 10 automatic updates only takes two steps.

  1. Press the Start key and type 'Services'.
  2. Click 'Services'.

  2. Click 'Stop'.
  3. Done!
