When preparing PowerPoint, people usually edit images on a computer rather than inside PowerPoint. Photoshop comes to mind, but the full version is expensive—are there free alternatives similar to Photoshop?
We recommend the long-established freeware GIMP. It offers Photoshop-like features—photo editing, drawing, resizing, cropping, retouching, filters, image format conversion, etc.—and supports GNU/Linux, Windows, and Mac OS. Best of all, it’s free to download.
It’s completely free, and there’s a Chinese version!
Note: the program starts in English. From the menu go to Edit → Preferences → Interface → Language and select Chinese [zh_TW] from the drop-down. Click OK, close the program and restart to switch to the Traditional Chinese interface.
