Quickly Fill Across Rows

Is there any quick way to fill down across rows? No need to drag one by one? If the list has thousands of names, dragging manually is tedious, so here's how to complete the task in seconds!

  1. Select B2:B11 — the data area.
  2. Ctrl + G → Special

  3. Blanks

  4. With the blanks selected, in the first blank enter the formula for the cell above; for example, in B3 enter =B2

  5. Press Ctrl + Enter to complete.
